Day 1 highlights

Axé gradually increased in this opening roda. We had people in all levels and from different groups playing each other.
Sylvia and Fubuia’s game kept me in suspense after she connected 2 cabeçadas (or maybe 3?). Fubuia could potentially break her into two, but that did not happen. Thankfully.
Tengil had such steez! Flowing from movement to movement, getting Charmoso a couple times. A delight to watch him play.
Charmoso and Fubuia’s mano a mano stopped people’s breathing a few times. That game even had a bent chair from someone in the bateria.
Starting strong.
